Rajasthan government scheme: Government is giving up to 60% subsidy on goat rearing in Rajasthan! Golden opportunity for youth, will get loan up to 50 lakhs. Know how to apply!

Rajasthan Bakri Palan Yojana 2025: The ever-increasing unemployment in Rajasthan has posed a big challenge of employment in front of the youth. But now government schemes are turning this challenge into an opportunity. Especially for those youth who want to do something new in areas like agriculture and animal husbandry. For such people, the Rajasthan government has launched a tremendous scheme – Bakri Palan Yojana, in which the government is ready to give a subsidy of up to 60% of the expenditure on your goat farm directly.

If you want to do goat farming business, then under this scheme, the government is ready to give you a loan of minimum 5 lakh to maximum 50 lakh rupees. The special thing is that the interest on this loan will be only 7% per annum, and it can be repaid in easy installments of 7 to 9 years. The biggest relief in this scheme is that you will be given a subsidy of 50% to 60% on the loan, which will reduce your financial burden to a great extent. General category and backward classes will get 50% grant, while Scheduled Castes and Tribes will get the full benefit of 60%.

If you have these things then you can become a goat rearing entrepreneur

Now the question arises whether you are eligible for this scheme? If you are a permanent resident of Rajasthan and you have at least 10 goats or one goat, then you can apply for this scheme. Apart from this, it is necessary to have about one acre of land for the goat farm. You should be 18 years of age or above, you should have your own ration card, and most importantly – you should not be a defaulter in the loan of any bank or institution. If these conditions are met, you can start your dream goat farming business through this scheme.

Where and how to apply for a loan?

To avail this scheme, you will have to submit an offline application not on any online portal but by visiting your nearest veterinary hospital. The application process has been kept simple so that more and more rural youth can take advantage of it. Once the application is accepted, you can get the loan amount in your bank account within a few days. And yes, you will not have to pay any kind of fee in this process.

Why is goat farming becoming a new business model?

In a state like Rajasthan where there is drought, water shortage and farming challenges, goat farming is becoming the most suitable and profitable deal. The milk, meat of goats and the increase in their number can give good income to farmers every month. Now that the government has also extended a helping hand, this sector can rapidly become a big way of rural development and self-reliance for the youth.

Now you have a chance – go ahead and take advantage of the scheme

This scheme of the government is not just a subsidy or loan, but it is a strong step towards self-reliant India. If you are unemployed, want to do something new and you have some resources, then you can start with goat rearing. Apply soon, because the number of beneficiaries under the scheme is limited.
