Delhi: On Thursday, 8 April, the Indian Premier League (IPL) KL Rahul, wicketkeeper-batsman of Delhi Capitals (DC), celebrated in a special style after winning Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 24th match of 2025. Rahul finished the match by hitting a six and after that he made a ball on the ground and buried his bat in the middle of it. This style was inspired by the film 'Kantara', which is one of Rahul's favorite films.

Rahul told the reason for celebration

After the match, Rahul told that this ground, ie Chinnaswamy Stadium has a special place in his heart. He said, “This place is very special for me. This celebration was from my favorite film 'Kantara'. I just wanted to remind that this ground, this place, my house. I am growing up here and the way to play here comes to me.”

Rahul, who played a brilliant innings of 93 runs, was also clearly seen in the confidence interview. He said that from the beginning he had brought a plan to play aggressively.

Rahul said, “This is my ground, my house. I know where to kill the shot. I wanted to start in a good way, and then understand the game and move forward. If I had to hit a six, I knew in which direction I had to send the ball.”

Star wicketkeeper batsman has won the team in two of the three matches so far this season. In the first match of the season, he could not play due to the birth of his child. This time KL Rahul has also changed the style of his batting. Earlier, he was accused of playing slow, but this season he has started playing according to the need of the team. This time he is playing in the middle order and this change is proving beneficial for him.
