These 10 people reached the shop for raids. He was an officer of GST department.
When the GST department team raided a sudden, there was a stir in the area. During the raid, there was chaos in the customers and staff present at the shop. People who came there to eat Pudi became uncomfortable.
A team of about 10 GST officials knocked together in the shop and its warehouse. The team first instructed all the employees to stop the work, then started a thorough investigation of the documents. The raid lasted for about four hours. During this time important documents were seized from the shop and warehouse.
Many disturbances found
The officials also examined the machines and data related to daily transactions. According to reports, many irregularities and shortcomings were found in documents. Apart from this, bank details and transaction history were also thoroughly investigated.
Shop was not sealed
The shop was not sealed after the raid, but the GST department has seized the documents and indicated further action. Speaking to the media, the owner of the shop Ghanshyam Bajpai said, 'We were not aware that it was going to be raided. Someone must have complained.
He told that whatever information was sought from us, we gave them all. Our aim is to always work under the rules. Today we have also deposited advance GST of 3 lakh rupees.
He further said, 'What GST officials have found have given us in writing and we will answer it properly. We have shown whatever papers and information we had.
