SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Skill Test Exam City: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam city slip for Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Skill Test 2024. Candidates can download SSC Stenographer Skill Test Exam City Details from the official website of the commission, ssc.gov.in. Candidates can download the exam city slip for the SSC Stenographer Skill Test through their login credentials on the website. The commission said in the official notification that the admit card for SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam 2025 will be released two days before the examination i.e. on 14 April 2025, as the exam is to be held on 16 and 17 April. According to the SSC official notification, "The admission certificate and the scribe entry pass for self-scribe will be available for download tentatively two days before the date of examination. These can be accessed through the login module on the SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in/)."

Candidates are advised to download and keep an extra copy of their admit card with them, as their original copy will be collected by the commission during the examination.

Last date for registration for scribe

Candidates who have opted for their scribe will have to register and submit the details of their scribe on the commission's website by 11:59 pm on April 1, 2025. SSC said that candidates may face trouble if the scribe-related information is not submitted on time. The commission has advised the candidates to refer to the examination notice issued on 24 June 2024 for any clarification related to their admit card. In case of any problem, candidates can resort to the helpline or support section available on the official website of SSC.

SSC Stenographer Exam Date and Pattern

The skill test for Stenographer Grade C and D Exam 2024 will be conducted on the 16th and 17th of April 2025. This test is for those candidates who have cleared the Computer Based Examination (CBE). In the skill test, candidates will be given dictation in English or Hindi (as per the option chosen in the online application) for 10 minutes. Candidates applying for Grade C posts will have to give dictation tests at a speed of 100 words per minute (wpm). At the same time, candidates applying for Grade D posts will have to give dictation tests at a speed of 80 words per minute (wpm). SSC also clarified that candidates who have opted to take the stenography test in Hindi will have to learn English stenography after appointment and those who have opted for English will have to learn Hindi. If this is not done then the probation period of the candidate will not be accepted by the concerned departments.
