New Delhi. The niece of BSP supremo Mayawati (BSP Supremo Mayawati) has made serious allegations of dowry harassment. The niece has filed a case against seven in -laws including her husband. The case has been registered on the court's order in Hapur Nagar Kotwali.
According to the information, the victim was married to Hapur Nagar Palika President Pushpa Devi on 9 November 2023 and BSP (BSP), former MLA candidate from Shripal Singh (BSP), Shripal Singh (Shribal Singh) son Vishal. After marriage, the in -laws' side had started demanding Rs 50 lakh in cash from the victim and a flat in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad.
Mayawati's niece filed a case of dowry harassment
The victim has alleged that husband Vishal, mother -in -law Pushpa Devi, father -in -law Shripal Singh, Jeth Bhupendra alias Monu, Jethani Nisha, Nand Shivani and warts father -in -law Akhilesh assaulted her for not giving dowry. He was also threatened with implicating him in a false case. The victim has also alleged her husband Vishal, calling her as impotent.
Police registered a case and started investigation
When the matter reached the court, the Hapur police registered a case on the order of the court. The victim's lawyer Rajiv Sharma said that FIR has been registered under sections 85, 115 (2), 352, 351 (2), 74, 75, 76, 3 and 4 of BNS. At the same time, Hapur CO City Jitendra Sharma said that the police has started investigating the case. Further action will be taken after investigation.
