Emma Corrin, the British non-binary star known for their roles in The Crown and Lady Chatterley's Lover, is set to appear in season seven of . The episode, titled Hotel Reverie, is a tribute to black-and-white films with the typical technological twist.

Corrin, who uses they/them pronouns, will be starring alongside American actress and writer Issa Rae. In the show, Corrin will embody the Golden Age of Hollywood as Dorothy.

Emma Corrin's romance with Oscar winner Rami Malek

Corrin is currently dating Oscar-winning American actor Rami Malek, famous for his roles in the thriller series Mr Robot and his portrayal of in Bohemian Rhapsody.

Malek, 43, was previously in a relationship with his Bohemian Rhapsody co-star Lucy Boynton from 2017 to 2023. Corrin and Malek's romance came into the public eye after they were seen kissing in London in September 2023.

The couple had previously been spotted at a Bruce Springsteen concert in Hyde Park and later in New York City for the US Open. Since then, they have been photographed together at various events, reports .

Corrin and Malek have managed to keep their love life away from the public eye. However, in an earlier interview with The Guardian this year, Malek disclosed that he spends a significant amount of his time in London and occasionally in Margate, Kent with Corrin.

During the interview, Malek seemed smitten with Corrin, describing them as "fascinating" and "quirky".

Emma Corrin's hospitalisation due to health condition

Despite their blossoming romance with Malek, Corrin has previously opened up about a health scare that led to hospitalisation during filming.

In a 2020 chat with Glamour, Corrin shared their experience of falling ill while shooting for Netflix's The Crown in Spain for two months.

Corrin and their co-star from The Crown, Josh O'Connor, were filming scenes that recreated Prince Charles and Diana's 1983 tour of , which included a sequence involving Corrin swimming.

"I'm asthmatic and had been ill for a while with a cough. I had to film a scene in a freezing-cold swimming pool.

"It was the hardest scene to film because I was genuinely keeping myself alive treading water," they confessed to the publication.

Corrin further explained that they were supposed to be flying back to the UK that evening and visited a hospital to get some antibiotics.

However, after being checked by the doctors, Corrin revealed there was a sudden change of plans.

Corrin clarified: "The doctors gave me an oxygen test and said, 'We can't let you go because your oxygen levels are so low,' so I was hospitalised."

Fortunately, Corrin has bounced back and continued to work on numerous projects, including the upcoming film 100 Nights of Hero.
