Brunei’s Prince Mateen recently shared a photo of himself and his wife, Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah, posing outside St James’ Palace in London at sunset on his Instagram.

Another image from the same post captures the couple at a football match, both dressed in matching beige outfits. A video included in the post shows Prince Mateen driving an open-top Ferrari along tree-lined lanes, while another photo features Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah casually dressed in jeans and wellies, walking down a muddy path.
“Life lately,” he captioned the series, accompanied by a red heart emoji.
These moments reflect the couple’s enjoyment of both the luxurious and the simple pleasures in life. Since their wedding in Jan. 2024, Prince Mateen has frequently shared glimpses of his marriage on social media, highlighting his and his wife’s travels, their attendance at sporting events, and involvement in charitable activities.
At 34, Prince Mateen is a polo enthusiast who has represented Brunei in the sport at the 2017 and 2019 SEA Games. In 2016, he was named one of Asia’s most eligible bachelors by Tatler magazine.
His wife, Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah, 31, is an entrepreneur in the cultural tourism sector and a graduate of the University of Bath in the U.K. She is well-connected within Brunei’s royal circles, with her grandfather Pehin Dato Isa having served as a prominent government advisor in the 1960s and 1970s.
Her brother Danial Deen Isa-Kalebic is a close friend of Prince Mateen, and her sister-in-law Janetira Attaskulchai Deen is connected to Thailand’s Attaskulchai family, known for owning the Betagen yogurt brand.
The couple’s wedding, which took place from Jan. 7-16, 2024, in Bandar Seri Begawan, was a grand affair, attended by around 5,000 guests, including dignitaries from around the world.
