It's claimed star Boubacar Kamara is on Liverpool's transfer radar.
The central midfielder has been in fine form for Unai Emery's team this season, having returned from a long-term injury last October. Villa is set to offer him a bumper new contract, described by L'Equipe as "historic."

Arsenal is poised to bid farewell to Thomas Partey and Jorginho this summer, potentially opening up a spot for a new midfielder. However, Chelsea appear well equipped in Kamara's position with Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia. Liverpool and Manchester United, meanwhile, are expected to focus on other areas in the summer window.
Kamara, whose current contract at Villa Park runs until the summer of 2027, has also been deployed as a center-back by Emery on several occasions this season. His partnership with Youri Tielemans has been instrumental in Villa's journey to the last eight of Europe's main club competition.
In other news, Belgian midfielder Tielemans believes the key for Villa against Ligue 1 champion PSG will be to concentrate on playing its own game. Emery's squad is on a seven-match unbeaten streak and are eyeing Champions League qualification through a top-five league finish. Villa has also got an FA Cup semifinal on the horizon.
"It's a big occasion but we're there for the game," Tielemans told Villa's in-house media. "We just want to play our game, we want to obviously win the game because that's what we're there for. And we're going to do everything to do that.
"Confidence is there but we know we've got to be on our toes every time we're on the pitch and we've got to focus. Every game is different, especially at this stage of the competition.
"PSG is a very big opponent, they're in good form as well. We're going to be facing a tough team."
