Pakistani actress Ayeza Khan recently drew criticism from fans after posting a daring photoshoot in Western clothes. Famous for her diverse roles in popular dramas such as Pul-e-Sirat, Pyaray Afzal, and Meray Paas Tum Ho, Ayeza has impressed fans with her capability to play a diverse array of characters—comedy to drama, and even villainous roles.
She was in the spotlight for her light-hearted act in Chupke Chupke, whereas her performances as negative characters in Meray Paas Tum Ho and Main were so strong that audience members felt like they disliked her on-screen characters despite being a fan of hers.
Besides modeling and acting, Ayeza has also become a regular sight in the modeling industry, working frequently for different brands. Her photo shoots often find their way on to Instagram, where she displays her style in an array of different attire. However, her most recent shoot shocked many fans by having her trade traditional for a bold Western look.
In the latest pictures, Ayeza wears a glittering black outfit consisting of a silk top, shiny trousers, and a coat added over it. Her hair was styled in a manner that created the illusion of a bob cut when viewed from the front, and she went for a full-glam makeup look instead of a natural one.
The appearance did not go down well with most of her fans, who wrote their discontent in the comment section. Some of the users criticized her dressing, asking whether she was deviating too much from her initial self. One of the comments stated, “Ayeza, are you getting stranger by the day?” while another stated, “This look doesn’t fit into Pakistani dramas—perhaps opt for Hollywood with this type of styling.
Most of the fans did not think the look was for her, with one saying, “You’re naturally gorgeous, but this style doesn’t do you justice.” Another said, “Trying too hard to look Western. Confidence is good, but not when it leads you to looks that don’t work.”
