Apoorva Mukhija also known as The Rebel Kid, is a social media celebrity and content creator who has finally spoken out about the horrifying rape and death threats she received after the India's Got Latent incident. She revealed the severe online abuse she has experienced after the incident in an honest piece, which sparked a surge of support from both fans and other creators. Apoorva included slides of screenshots in her post demonstrating how the chaos prompted thousands of people to unfortunately threaten her with rape and death.

The Rebel Kid breaks silence on rape & death threats after India’s Got Latent controversy

Taking to the comment section of the post, many people wrote about how no matter what the controversy is, nobody has the right to threaten somebody to this extent.

One wrote, “So where’s Cyber security and police now?.”

Another added, “You do not deserve this! And it’s not you Apoorva, it’s the men of our country who weren’t taught good things in life! Shame on them! SHAME ! Can’t imagine what you must be going through’ Stay strong.”

A third went on to add, “This is horrific. This is not okay. God bless you with strength to come back stronger! And I know you will, Apoorva!”

A few months ago, some of the guests' remarks during Samay Raina's show caused a stir. Samay himself, Apoorva Mukhija, and Ranveer Allahbadia were all fired for specific jokes they made. The situation became so terrible that they were the subject of FIRs, and the show was shut down as well.
