NEET MDS 2025 Exam: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the mandatory implementation of time-bound sections in the NEET MDS 2025 question paper. According to the official notification of the board, the NEET MDS 2025 question paper will be divided into two time-bound parts - Part A and Part B. In the question paper, candidates will be given 75 minutes for 100 questions in Part A and 105 minutes for 140 questions in Part B.

Candidates will not be allowed to move to the next part of the question paper before the time for one part is over. Also, after the time for a part is over, it will not be possible to review the questions or modify the answers to that part. The next section will start automatically as soon as the time for the previous section is over. This system has been implemented to make the examination process transparent and secure.

Implemented to prevent irregularities in the examination

This new system of time-bound sections being implemented in NEET MDS 2025 is a big step towards ensuring the credibility and fairness of the examination. Let us tell you that NEBMS has already announced that mandatory time-bound sections will be implemented in all MCQ-based exams, such as NEET-PG, NEET-MDS, NEET SS, FMGE, DNB-PDCET, GPAT, DPEE, FDST and FET. This decision has been taken to prevent emerging challenges and possible irregularities during the examination process.

Demo Test and Exam Date

To familiarize the candidates with this new examination system, NBEMS will provide a demo test on its website. This demo test will be available from April 9, 2025, under the NEET MDS 2025 application link webpage. The NEET MDS 2025 exam will be conducted on April 19 through a computer-based platform at various examination centers across the country. NEET MDS 2025 results will be declared by May 19, 2025. This exam is the only gateway for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) course.
