Mumbai: As the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) upgrades its “AQUA” system, all water billing services, including online payments, in-person payments at civic facilitation centres, and related services, will not be available from 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, until 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

During this time, the Water Department of the BMC will be moving the data from the current AQUA system to a safe cloud server. Consequently, neither BMC office or its official website would be able to process water bill payments or provide associated services.

BMC is working to enhance the AQUA water billing platform’s functionality, dependability, and future scalability, which includes this planned outage.

The local government has promised that the renovation would result in a more seamless billing experience moving ahead and asked residents to comply during the brief service interruption.
