Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The RSS is more influential in Madhya Pradesh than any other BJP-ruled state in the country.

The state government is taking most of the decisions with the consent of the RSS.

The Sangh has put its seal on the decisions over prohibition or on changing name of any place.

The name of CM Rise School has been changed to Sandipani Vidyalaya according to the RSS’s Hindutva agenda.

The RSS was opposed to sale of liquor at religious places in the state for a long time. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav approved it. Yadav is pushing the Hindutva agenda the way Sangh wants it to happen.

Various intersections in the city have been named after king Vikramaditya, Raja Bhoj and other Hindu kings according to the Sangh agenda. Soon after Yadav took over as CM, he ordered removal of loudspeakers from religious places and covering of meat shops.

The RSS has also played an important role in different important appointments.

The RSS play a crucial role in the appointment of Vijay Manohar Tiwari as vice-chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Mohan Nagar as vice chairman of Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Shrikant Patil as chairman of the Centre for Research and Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP), Manoj Shrivastava as State Election Commissioner, and SN Singh Chouhan as chairman of the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA).
