Beyond Paradise airs on BBC One and the new season sees the return of Felicity Montagu as Margo Martins. The 64-year-old actress, from Leeds, is perhaps best known for playing Lynn Benfield, the long-suffering assistant of Steve Coogan's Alan Partridge.
As the youngest of five children, the star has an interesting family history as the daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel John Drogo Montagu, whose great-great-grandfather was Admiral George Montagu, a famous Royal Navy officer.
George was the great-great-grandson of James Montagu who, in turn, was the third son of Henry Montagu, 1st Earl of Manchester. Henry was English judge, politician and peer known for sentencing Sir Walter Raleigh to death.
His son James had served as MP for Huntingdon in the English House of Commons alongside Oliver Cromwell in 1628. As for Felicity's career, some of her notable credits include Bridget Jones's Diary, Doc Martin, Suburban Shootout and Nighty Night.
She has also been a regular voice on BBC Radio 4 since the 1980s. When it comes to her personal life, she married TV and radio producer Alan Nixon in 1984.
Although the pair divorced in 2006, they have two children together - Olivia and Luke.
"We're still a team," she told The Guardian. "My children make me laugh a lot."
Felicity and her daughter, who is also an actress, worked together in 2016 in the BBC Radio 4 series Guilt Trip, playing a fictional mother and daughter.
The show was inspired by a package holiday they had taken to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.
"We've always had a rough and tumble relationship," she said. "Forever catching up with each other because I was grieving when I gave birth and then I got very ill and was in hospital for weeks."
Olivia was born just three months after her mother died from cancer.
A pre-fame Gina Ford, the childcare guru, had been Olivia's baby nurse.
"She was whipped away and taken home because I couldn't breastfeed her. It was a strange beginning," Felicity recalled.
She explained how she'd had an easier start in life, with her parents supporting her career choice despite having reservations.
