Actress Jocelyn Choi, granddaughter of Hong Kong’s renowned “seafood tycoon” Choi Kai Yau, wore gold jewelry from head to toe during her wedding to Mikie, a Japanese financial expert.

According to Hk01Choi alternated between seven different outfits during her wedding, mostly consisting of evening gowns. In the morning, during the wedding registration, she wore a red dress paired with a gold phoenix-shaped headpiece and 10 gold bracelets on her arms, as well as several rings.
In an interview, Choi shared her joy and gratitude toward her husband: “He does everything from washing clothes to cooking and mopping the floor, and even practices Cantonese to communicate with me.”
The couple’s celebration continued with a grand banquet in the evening at a five-star hotel, attended by numerous TVB executives including Virginia Lok, Liza Wang, and Cheung Tat Ming.
At 32, Choi made her acting debut with the 2019 film “A Home with a View.” She competed in the 2000 Miss Hong Kong pageant.

Her grandfather Choi Kai Yau is the founder of Sunwah Group, a leading seafood processor, wholesaler, and distributor in Hong Kong. Choi Kai Yau is often referred to as the “King of Seafood” for his pioneering work in the seafood industry. Sunwah Group expanded its food wholesale and distribution businesses into Southeast Asia and North America under his leadership.
Choi’s father Jonathan Choi currently serves as the chairman of Sunwah Group.
