Actually, Harvard doctor Saurabh Sethi has told about these cooking oils. Sharing a video on his Instagram handle, the gastroenterologist says, 'Deep fried food is not good for health. However, if you like to eat puri-kachori etc. sometimes, then you can choose the right cooking oil for this. There are some oils in which cooking or deep frying food does not harm your health that much.

Refined Coconut Oil

The first name on the list is refined coconut oil. According to Dr. Sethi, the smoke point of this oil is very high. Let us tell you that the higher the smoke point of the oil (the temperature at which the oil starts burning), the better it will be for deep frying. On the other hand, the smoke point of refined coconut oil is around 400°F. In such a situation, it can be good for deep frying.

Refined Olive Oil

Dr. explains, refined olive oil contains a good amount of mono-unsaturated fats, which are beneficial for health. Apart from this, the smoke point of this oil is also high up to about 465 °F. In such a situation, you can use this oil to deep fry food.

Ghee

You can use ghee to deep fry food. Dr. Saurabh Sethi explains, the butyric acid present in it is beneficial for digestion. Apart from this, the smoke point of ghee is also high (450 °F).

Avocado Oil

Apart from all this, Dr. recommends choosing avocado oil for deep frying. Its smoke point is high up to about 520 °C.
