What made him agree to sign Kumkum Bhagya?
Kumkum Bhagya had been one of my favourite serials. I grew up watching it. I used to watch this serial with my grandmother. She was also a huge fan. And when I was approached for this through Balaji Telefilms , I discussed this with one of my close friends who works as a creative producer. He just asked me to join the show, so my happiness had no limits. The character I am playing, which is Mayank, is such a lively and joyful character full of positivity. I couldn’t say no to it.
On being his debut show
I am really happy to see the response to the show's teaser from the audience. I am also excited since this is my first collab with Ekta Kapoor Ma'am with Akshay Bindra and Pranali Rathod. I cannot wait for the audience to watch the show and keep supporting and watching. Yes, it will be my first TV show, and I am super happy.
Major difference between web and TV
So the main difference I found out was that in web shows, we cannot meet all the people/ coactors properly due to different schedules, and there are no proper interactions with each other, just hi, hello and all, but here it feels like family. We meet daily. Everyone is so overwhelming and kind that we all sit together. Do chitchat. We laugh together. It’s super fun. It feels like my own family.
Talks about his character in the show
My character is Mayank, who is the best friend of Raunak. They both share the bond like Brothers. Mayank is a super fun guy who is full of joy, liveliness and positivity. Raunak completely trusts Mayank, and he is going to help Raunak to deal with the problems, he is facing. And I am assured that the audience is going to love Mayank.
