He said that Indranil cheated him, despite this she kept trying to save her relationship for two years. However, in the end he decided to separate. Barkha Bisht and Indranil Sengupta married in March 2008. The pair separated four years ago after living together for about 15 years. At the same time, in an interview, Barkha spoke openly about this. He said, “Indranil decided to end the marriage, he knows the reason behind it. If it was in my hand, I would still be married today.” He further said, “Our marriage was going well, but something happened that I could not understand even today. For four years I kept thinking that I was probably a shortage. But the truth is that it is a choice.”

When Barkha was asked about the rumors of Indranil and Bengali actress Isha Saha's affair, she said that she spoke to Indranil about this, but her reply was not satisfactory. He said, “He chose his choice, now he can probably justify it. People find many reasons to justify their decisions.”
