Small Potatoes-8-10
Besan – 200 grams
Celery – 2 teaspoons
Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
Green coriander chutney – two tablespoons
salt to taste
Oil – to fry
Coriander powder – 2 tablespoons
Sweet chutney – 1 tbsp
Garam Masala – Half a teaspoon
The method of making potato barule is very simple. If you want to make something easy and tasty, this recipe is a great option.
Take small size potatoes. Wash them thoroughly and boil them. Keep in mind that the potatoes do not boil too much, otherwise they can be cheeky. The most important for barule is to maintain the shape of the potatoes while boiling, so that Barula can be prepared well.
Add celery, garam masala, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt to a deep pot and mix all the ingredients well. Now add some water to it and prepare the solution. The solution should neither be too thin nor thick.
Peel the boiled potatoes and put it in gram flour solution and wrap the potatoes in gram flour. Keep in mind that there should be a thick layer of gram flour on the potato.
Now put oil in a pan and heat it well, keep the oil so hot that the potatoes fried in it can be crispy well. When the oil is well heated, add gram flour wrapped potatoes to it. Fry the potatoes until they become golden and crispy. Remove it in a plate and flatten it by pressing the hot potato lightly, so that its taste becomes even better.
Place the prepared barule plate and add green coriander chutney to them. If you want, you can also add sweet sauce. These potatoes with chutney look even more tasty. Serve them hot.
