Water costs for Greater Noida residents will now be higher. The Greater Noida Authority raised the water tariffs on April 1st, as it does each year. The Greater Noida Authority provides drinking water to the city’s residential, commercial, industrial, and group housing sites. A residential site up to 60 square meters would cost between Rs 173 and Rs 190 per month for water; a plot 60 to 120 square meters will cost between Rs 286 and Rs 315.

The outstanding balance on unpaid bills will be recouped at the annual interest rate.
For residential plots between 1000 and 1100 square meters, the monthly water cost has gone up by Rs 200. The allottees would be required to pay an extra charge of between Rs 204 and Rs 2,400 a year in such a scenario. The authority states that the outstanding amount would be collected from the allottees at the yearly interest rate if they fail to pay the water bill even after the fiscal year has ended. Every six months, the interest rate will be compounded. The KVA (Know Your Allottee) must be completed by the allottee. He may then use the Mitra app or pay the bill online.

A five percent discount will be applied when the whole bill is paid.
Allottees who pay the whole water bill will get a reduction of up to 5%. The yearly bill must be paid between April 1 and September 30 in order to qualify for the discount. Only when the whole cash amount enters the authority’s account will the benefit become accessible.
