Exclusive - Rahul Vaidya on clashes with Rubina Dilaik in Laughter Chefs 2; says, "We were cast for our Nok-Jhok but Bigg Boss is over..."
Rahul Vaidya and Rubina Dilaik 's pair has been one of the highlights of Laughter Chefs season 2. Their rivalry and fun banter on the show while cooking recipes is loved by fans. Recently in an exclusive chat with the Times of India TV, Rahul opened up about his on-screen clashes with Rubina Dilaik on Laughter Chefs 2 , admitting that their playful banter was a key reason for their casting. However, he emphasized that their Bigg Boss rivalry is a thing of the past.
Speaking about his experience of working with Rubina, he shared, "The makers of Laughter Chefs brought Rubina and me on the show because of our nok-jhok from Bigg Boss 14 . However, this show is completely different, and I’m thoroughly enjoying working with Rubina. It’s not about fights, and I’m not someone who holds grudges. Arre, Bigg Boss khatam ho gaya, woh ek alag show tha, yeh ek alag show hai! I’m having an amazing time and truly enjoying the experience."
Rahul also spoke about how fans of Rubina and him get engaged in war of words on social media and few expect them to fight like Bigg Boss, "I don’t take social media comments too seriously because there are always some people who just want to keep fighting. There are a few fans who say, 'We fought so much for you in Bigg Boss, and now you’ve become friends!' But what do they expect? That we keep fighting for life?"
He added, "Ab kya zindagi bhar usi baat ko leke ladta rahun ya galat baat bolta rahun? I feel some of them are just immature kids. At the end of the day, we all have one life—just be happy, eat well, and cook good food!"
