'CID's biggest villain Barbosa returns with a deadly new mission

Acclaimed filmmaker and actor Tigmanshu Dhulia will be back as Barbosa, head of the notorious Eye Gang, in the popular crime show CID.

After a gap of six and a half years, Dhulia's character returns with a mission to destroy the CID bureau.

The return promises to bring shocking twists and intense action, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.

Reflecting on his journey with CID, Dhulia said he was initially apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised by the audience's appreciation for his character.

He said, "When I first joined CID 6.5 years ago, I was a bit apprehensive. I wondered if I would be overshadowed, but to my surprise, it turned out to be an incredible experience."

"Due to popular demand, I've been called back, and I couldn't be more thrilled."

He said, "This time, I return with a clear mission, and I'm fully prepared. My character is more intense than ever—sharp, unpredictable, and always one step ahead."

"At any given moment, he could turn the tables, and that unpredictability makes him more dangerous."

He also claimed that there's a certain stylized edge to Barbosa this time, which adds to the thrill of playing him.
