Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday, is among the most highly-anticipated films of 2025. The film follows the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, and while Akshay plays Sir C Sankaran Nair in the film, details about Ananya Panday and Madhavan's characters were not known.

Much to fans' delight, the makers have now finally unveiled the first look posters of their characters! They also introduced Simon Paisley Day's character in Kesari Chapter 2 by sharing a motion poster.

The makers introduced Ananya Panday as Dilreet Gill in her first character poster from the film. It shows her in an advocate dress code, with a white saree and a black coat worn over it, accompanied by a white neckband. She is seen holding a file in her hand. Meanwhile, the motion poster gives another glimpse of Ananya's character in which she is seen with a dupatta covering her head. "Embraced by compassion, fueled by justice. Introducing Ananya Panday as Dilreet Gill in Kesari - Chapter 2," wrote the makers. Check out the video below!

Meanwhile, the makers also introduced R Madhavan as Neville Mckinley. The first look poster shows his intense avatar. Looks like he also plays an advocate, and is seen in a black lawyer's robe. His hair is tied back neatly, and Madhavan rocks a salt-and-pepper look in this film. "Sharp, fearless, undeniable… but playing for the other side! Introducing R. Madhavan as Neville Mckinley in Kesari - Chapter 2," wrote the makers. Another glimpse in the motion poster shows him having an intense discussion with Akshay Kumar's character. Additionally, the makers also shared the first look of Simon Paisley Day's character, and wrote, "Bullets rained, innocents fell… and he stood cold. Introducing Simon Paisley Day as General Reginald Dyer in Kesari - Chapter 2."

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story Of Jallianwala Bagh arrives in cinemas on April 18, 2025. The film is backed by an impressive production team, including Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari.
