The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced that from this year, CA final exams will now be conducted thrice a year instead of twice a year. It will be conducted thrice a year - in February, June and October. Last year, ICAI had decided to conduct the Intermediate and Foundation course exams thrice a year and now CA final exams will also be conducted in the same way.

ICAI said in a statement, "To provide more opportunities to the students, the 26th Council of ICAI has taken a historic decision to conduct the CA final exam thrice a year. This exam was conducted twice a year." Now, examinations at all three levels - CA Final, Intermediate, and Foundation - will be conducted thrice every year, thereby providing more opportunities for students to appear in the exams. These exams will be conducted in the months of January, May, and September." The ICAI said that changes will also be made to the Post Qualification Course in Information Systems Auditing.

The assessment test for this course was earlier conducted twice a year in June and December, but now it will be conducted thrice a year - in February, June, and October, thereby further increasing access and convenience for the members.
