Viswam. The second iteration of AI Days 2025, the premier AI conference organized by IIIT Hyderabad and Swecha, will take place in the city slated for April 12–13, 2025. The event will be inaugurated by Telangana’s Minister of Information Technology, D. Sridhar Babu, in front of important government representatives.

Technology experts and AI enablers will discuss experiences, insights, and case studies at the conference, which is expected to draw over 2,000 attendees from a variety of AI-related fields, including developers, architects, entrepreneurs, tech executives, and policy officials.
The conference’s first day will be devoted to developing solutions via workshops on the newest AI tools and technologies and Masterclasses led by renowned AI professionals. The second day will be devoted to learning from policymakers and business executives.
“Artificial Intelligence is bringing about an unusual situation where AI is still being worked on in research groups across the world,” said Prof. PJ Narayanan, Director of IIIT Hyderabad. The time and distance divide between research and industry is being greatly reduced as industry adopts many of the same innovations almost simultaneously. Thought leaders from these two fields will come together for this AI Days conference.
Industry CXOs, policymakers, researchers, and thought leaders will discuss research, potential solutions, and issues throughout the two-day conference via Round Tables. India’s Own LLMs, Developing Low-Cost AI, Community Sourcing AI, and Data Privacy and Policy are some of the themes. The two-month AI hack Days program will also come to an end during the event.
In addition to various technological experts and around 25 CXOs, the main speakers include Rohit Chennamaneni, co-founder of Darwinbox; Renata Avila, CEO of Open Knowledge Foundation; Srini Raju, chairman of iLabs Capital; and Soumith Chintala, co-founder of PyTorch.
