The application process for the CTET July exam generally starts in the first week of March. For reference, the application window for CTET July 2024 opened on March 7, 2024, and remained open until April 4, 2024. Although the application forms for CTET July 2025 have not yet been released, it is anticipated that CBSE will issue them soon.

Fill out the online application form and save the registration/application number.
Upload the required scanned documents (latest photograph and signature).
Pay the examination fee using debit/credit card or net banking.

The CTET exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The exam is divided into two papers:
Paper I: For candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes I to V.
Paper II: For candidates aiming to teach Classes VI to VIII.
Candidates who wish to qualify for both levels (Classes I to VIII) must appear for both Paper I and Paper II.
