Wednesday night saw The One Show's Alex Jones blush after a playful interaction on air. The BBC presenter invited Martin Clunes and Neil Morrissey, co-stars in the much-loved BBC sitcom Men Behaving Badly from the 1990s, to discuss their new venture together on a travel show. With nearly three decades since they first graced our screens, the famous duo has reunited for an exciting road trip across France. Before delving into conversation with Alex and Angellica Bell, the audience got a sneak peek at their escapades in a short teaser clip.

Following the preview of their French journey, which hinted at much laughter and camaraderie, Alex remarked: "Now, well, a lovely programme. We first saw you, of course, together back in the 90s on Men Behaving Badly. Is this just an excuse to relive the good old days?" Martin playfully retorted with feigned indignation: "How dare you? ! How dare you? We tried to make an edifying fine piece of television for the British viewers here."

Alex couldn't help but chuckle at Martin's witty rejoinder as Neil chimed in with: "Educational, fun, nostalgic."

The hosts then turned the conversation towards the pair's on-screen reunion, with both actors affirming it had been wonderful. Neil mentioned: "It's a great excuse actually to hang out because we haven't hung out with each other."

Despite keeping in touch, Martin and Neil acknowledged that spending laid-back time together hadn't been frequent. Upon hearing about their revived camaraderie during the show, Alex commented joyously: "You made up for it!"

Neil aired his insights on their escapades in the show, quipping about how filming felt more like an interruption to a leisurely holiday, thanks to the camera crew.

On the sofa, chuckling over memories of their journey, Angellica playfully remarked: "You're up to no good again, aren't they!" To which Alex concurred with a smile: "They are!"

The duo's appearance on the programme sparked a swift social media response. A nostalgic viewer reminisced: "Growing up watching Men Behaving Badly in the 90's, it's so lovely to see Martin Clunes and Neil Morrissey together again."

One fan penned: "They're still fun together, those Men Behaving Badly boys." Meanwhile, another tweet read: "#TheOneShow good guests tonight."

An enthused fan shared: "I watched it the other night it was funny indeed cant wait for the next one."

With another chiming in: "I hope Martin and Neil get up to some Oldies Behaving Badly scenarios. Can't wait!".

For fans looking to journey along, 'Neil And Martin's Bon Voyage' is available for viewing on UandGold, and the series can be caught up with via the U app on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Go.
