IIT JAM 2025 Admission: Candidates who have passed the IIT JAM 2025 exam can apply from today for admission in PG courses of 22 IIT institutes. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will accept applications for admission to various master's programs from today i.e. 26 March 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the JOAPS portal joaps.iitd.ac.in based on their respective category and performance in the JAM 2025 entrance exam. The last date to apply for this is 9 April 2025, candidates should apply on or before this date.

Let us tell you that the results of IIT JAM 2025 were declared on March 18 and the final answer key was released on March 19. At the same time, the scorecards of JAM 2025 were released on March 24.

Counselling will be done in four rounds

IIT Delhi will conduct four rounds of counseling for admission. The first admission list will be released on May 26. The merit list will include details like the name of the candidate, the program chosen, rank etc. Candidates will be able to download the admission list using their login credentials. Candidates have to pay the admission fee to confirm their seat in the JAM counseling session.

Candidates can apply for admission to the programs of their choice in 22 IITs, in which more than 2,000 seats are available. Candidates can apply for admission to various postgraduate programs like MSc, MSc Tech, MSc Research, MSc Tech, Dual Degree, Joint MSc - PhD, MSc-PhD in various institutes.

When was the exam held?

Let us tell you that the Joint Entrance Examination Masters (JAM) 2025 was conducted on 2 February 2025. This exam is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) format consisting of seven test papers. The exam consists of three types of objective questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), MSQ, and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
