Jet2 has revealed additional flights from a major UK airport for winter 2025/2026, in a boost for holiday hungry Brits.
More flights and holidays will be on sale for winter sun and city break destinations, from through Jet2. The announcement means that there will be additional seats for winter 2025/2026 from Birmingham Airport, including bringing the start of the season to Porto forward in response to more customers looking for culture, history, cuisine and sightseeing.
The flight programme is also being expanded to the Canary Islands, Cyprus, Turkey, Alicante, Porto and Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: "We are seeing continued demand for our award-winning flights and holidays and with Winter 25/26 looking so popular, we are in the position to respond with a massively expanded programme from Birmingham Airport.

Jet2 was recently crowned the best short-haul airline in the . Which? conducted its annual airline satisfaction survey, gathering feedback from travellers about their flying experiences over the past year. The survey analysed data from more than 9,000 flights.
Jet2 was the best-performing short-haul airline, netting an impressive customer score of 80 percent. It is the fourth year in a row that the airline secured the top spot, earning high praise for customer service, booking process, cleanliness, and value for money. The airline also boasted one of the lowest rates of last-minute cancellations in the survey, with only 0.1 per cent of flights being cancelled at short notice, according to CAA data.
