TV star parted ways with her husband after 30 years together, and she's been quite open about the personal reasons behind their split. The beloved presenter, 67, was frank about her unfulfilling marriage to Mark Dunford. Recently, she expressed her disappointment regarding their bedroom life.

She has previously disclosed that she and Mark, father to her two children, Louis, 32, and Bobbie, 28, "simply grew apart" and admitted to a sexless marriage, describing herself as 'celibate'. Linda previously confessed that having lost the romantic spark with Mark, she had no desire to pursue new love, dismissing the idea of 'jiggy jiggy'. Linda and Mark first crossed paths in their teenage years but only began dating much later. In 2017, she reminisced: "I used to babysit for Mark he was a couple of years younger than me... I was 16 and he was 13 and a half, and he was a bit of a pain, to be honest. And we lived in the street next to each other."

It was a chance encounter in the park when they reconnected. After dating, the pair wed in 1990.

But Linda later made confessions about their more than thirty-year marriage. On the ITV talk show Loose Women, she bared the marital strife, admitting it had been anything but smooth sailing and that at points, she considered herself 'celibate'.

Linda disclosed a surprising detail about her relationship with Mark, who she once deemed her 'rock', stating bluntly that they hadn't been intimate for two years, a situation she appeared indifferent to. "Can I just say I've been celibate for two years?" she declared, "I can't be a**** with all that [romance stuff]. I'm just happy going out with my mates and my children and my grandchildren."

Despite difficulties prior to their separation last year, she maintained: "We're still living together. We both love our kids more than anything else in the world, obviously, you have a few hiccups in every marriage. We've been married 33 years so it's not going to be all plain sailing, but we're still together at the moment."

Later, she confirmed their parting in an interview with Woman magazine, embracing her single status. Reflecting on her former partner, she commented: "He's a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough. I've got my family and my kids around me. And I'm going on a cruise with Lesley Joseph in November. I'm keeping busy."

In a candid chat with OK!, she confessed that their paths diverged, remarking: "People do, sometimes, don't they? We never had that much in common. I'm very sociable. Mark never enjoyed that side of thing."

The mother of two reflected on the endurance of their 30-year marriage, attributing it to ensuring stability for their kids who have now 'grown up' and are living their own lives. However, Linda is happily embracing her newfound single status and isn't on the hunt for another partner.
