A cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Jharkhand. A total of 16 important proposals have been approved by the government in this meeting. These proposals approved the formation of Special Bill to promote small and medium enterprises in Jharkhand as well as Jharkhand Community Health Assistant Cadre (Recruitment, Promotion and Other Service) Rules-2025 under the Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare.

In this meeting, the Soren government has also approved partial amendment in the implementation of 'Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maniyan Samman Yojana' operated in the state. The government will make a radical change in its implementation and implement it in a better and effective manner. Apart from this, the government has approved theoretical consent on the proposal to construct Balpahari Barrage.

Many important decisions in the meeting of Jharkhand Council of Ministers

1- Jharkhand Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Bill 2025: Jharkhand Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Special Rebate) Bill 2025 was approved to give special exemption to micro, small and medium industries in the state.

2- Promotion in Jharkhand Secretariat Service: In the Jharkhand Secretariat Services Rules, the Assistant Passers of Passe from the Administrator have approved the change in the rules related to the competition examination regarding promotion to the post of Administration Officer.

3- Service regularization: Under the order of the Jharkhand High Court, it was approved to regularize the service of 6 personnel.

4- Economic Survey and Budget: The third supplementary expenditure details of the financial year 2024-25 and the budget estimate of 2025-26 received approval from the Council of Ministers.

5- Appointment of teachers for disabled children: In order to provide better education to disabled children, 3451 special trained Assistant Acharya was approved out of 50,000 posts in schools in the state schools.

6- E-court project: The Council of Ministers approved a three-sided agreement for the third phase of the e-court project.

7- Action against suspended officer: A proposal for dismissal from service against Sadhana Jaipuriar (suspended) was passed.

8- Financial assistance for digitization: Financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh was sanctioned for the second phase of digitization of works related to the state personnel of Jharkhand.

9- New rules in health sector: Approval was given to make new rules for Jharkhand Community Health Assistant Cadre.

10- Development in irrigation schemes: Under the Balpahari Irrigation Scheme, the proposal for construction of Balpahari Barrage was given by the state government under the underweight of Balpahari Dam.

11- Salary fixation of Jharkhand Secretariat personnel: Under the sixth revised pay scale, the amendment made in the payment of salary of Assistant and Private Assistant Employees of Jharkhand Secretariat was approved.

12- Amendment for construction works: The Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation Limited approved amendment of departmental resolution in the construction work of police and other departments.

13- Amendment in Chief Minister Mayian Samman Yojana: Partial amendment was approved in the implementation of Mukhyamantri Maniyan Samman Yojana.

14- Increase in GST: Due to increase in construction works from 12 per cent to 18 per cent, payment and difference amount was approved in the contracts of the Water Resources Department.
