Ajay Devgn is making a comeback to the big screen once again playing the upright and honest IRS officer in the income tax department of India Amay Patnaik in the Raid sequel Raid 2.
In the 2018 original, Ajay Devgn’s Amay Patnaik took on Saurabh Shukla’s MP Rameshwar Singh.
Seven years later, in its sequel, the honest officer will lock horns with the corrupt and evil politician Dada Bhai played by Riteish Deshmukh.
Recently, the makers dropped the first look poster of Ajay Devgn as the protagonist in Raid 2 and now a day later, the film’s main villain has been unveiled played by Riteish Deshmukh.
Sharing the poster, Ajay Devgn wrote, “Kanoon ka mohtaj nahi, kanoon ka malik hai Dada Bhai!”

Directed by Rajkumar Gupta of No One Killed Jessica fame, Raid was recently remade in Telugu as Mr Bachchan starring Ravi Teja.
Also starring Vaani Kapoor, Raid 2 releases in theatres on May 1, 2025.
