Delhi Old Age Pension Scheme

The Delhi government will give 2 thousand rupees per month to people above 60 years of age and elderly people of 70 years of age. At the same time, it will give Rs 2,500 per month to people above 70 years of age and SC / ST category people above 60 years of age.

Old Age Pension Scheme in Delhi is a government initiative to provide financial relief to senior citizens in Delhi. Who needs assistance? The government has launched the Old Age Pension Scheme Portal which ensures a hassle-free application process to provide financial assistance to senior citizens through monthly pension. Currently, an additional 80,000 people in Delhi are in the category of old age pension. Due to this the total number of beneficiaries under this scheme has increased to 5.3 lakh. Under this scheme, senior citizens above 60 years of age will receive monthly financial assistance in their bank account as per the Aadhaar number of the beneficiary through the PFMS portal.
