Rule Change: Starting April 1, 2025, significant changes in credit card regulations will come into effect, impacting additional fees, transaction limits, and other terms for customers.
Changes in SBI Credit Cards
SBI Card has announced modifications in its reward points program and other benefits. These changes will be applicable to the SimplyCLICK SBI Card, Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card, and Air India SBI Signature Credit Card.
Reduction in Reward Points-
SimplyCLICK SBI Card: Reward points for Swiggy orders will be reduced from 10X to 5X. However, purchases on Myntra, Netmeds, Cleartrip, Dominos, Yatra, BookMyShow, and Apollo 24x7 will still earn 10X reward points.

SBI Platinum Credit Card: Reward points per ₹100 spent will be reduced from 15 to 5.

Air India SBI Signature Credit Card: Reward points per ₹100 spent will drop from 30 to 10.

Effective July 26, 2025, the ₹50 lakh complimentary air accident insurance coverage will be discontinued.

Additionally, the ₹10 lakh complimentary rail accident insurance will also be removed.
IDFC First Bank has also announced modifications in its Club Vistara Credit Card benefits.
Modifications in Club Vistara Card-
Milestone benefits for Club Vistara IDFC First Bank Card will be discontinued from April 1, 2025.

Customers can still redeem Maharaja Points until March 31, 2026.

Club Vistara SBI Card: Economy ticket vouchers and milestone benefits for annual spending of ₹1.25 lakh, ₹2.5 lakh, and ₹5 lakh will no longer be provided.

Club Vistara SBI Prime Card: Premium economy ticket vouchers will no longer be available.
