Every parent dreams of providing quality education to their children, often seeking affordable options in reputable schools. If you're looking for a great opportunity to secure free education for your child, this is your chance. Under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, online applications for free admission to private schools began on March 25 in Rajasthan.
According to News 18, Rameshwar Jeenagar, CBO of Suwana block, stated that parents must submit their online applications and upload required documents on the RTE portal between March 25 and April 7. A computerised lottery on April 9 will determine the priority order of selected students. Parents must complete online reporting to their designated schools between April 9 and 15.
Selected candidates must report to their respective schools online between April 9 and 15. Private schools will have to verify the submitted documents between April 9 and 21. On April 22, NIC will auto-verify all applications. Parents can also modify or correct previously submitted documents between April 9 and 24. By April 28, private schools will re-examine all applications, and by May 5, CBOs will review any rejected applications.
Applications are open for nursery and first grade. Nursery admissions are for children aged 3 to 4 years, while first-grade applicants should be between 6 and 7 years old as of July 31. The annual family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh to qualify.
Under the RTE Act, private schools must reserve 25% of their entry-level seats for free admissions, with the state government covering the cost.
To be eligible, applicants must be permanent residents of Rajasthan and have an annual family income below ₹2.5 lakh. The necessary documents include an income certificate, child's birth certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, BPL card, mobile number, and a passport-sized photograph. The auto-reporting system will continue this year as well.
Parents are encouraged to complete the application process on time to avail of this opportunity for quality education at no cost.
