Admission Process and Eligibility
Candidates must fulfill the following minimum eligibility for admission to PhD, MTech, MS Research, MDesign, MPP at IIT Delhi:
Minimum 6.0 CGPA or 60% marks for General, OBC, EWS
SC, 5.50 CGPA or 55% marks for ST, PWD candidates
For PhD, national-level exams like GATE, and UGC NET will be required.
For mDesign, candidates will have to submit CEED scores.
A minimum 5.5 CGPA (5.0 for SC/ST/PWD) will be required for MSc and MA programs.
Application Process and Fees
Applications for PG and PhD courses at IIT Delhi will be accepted through online mode only.
Application Fee:
Rs.200 per application for General, OBC, and EWS candidates
Rs.50 per application for SC, ST, and PWD candidates
Scholarships and Financial Aid
IIT Delhi offers financial aid to full-time PhD, MTech, MS(R), mDesign, MSc, MPP, and MA students. Candidates can refer to the information brochure of IIT Delhi for detailed information.
 
IIT Delhi has also clarified that admission to PhD, MTech, and MS Research courses will be available in both full-time and part-time forms, depending on the availability of seats. Candidates are advised to visit the official website for more details and the application process.
