As the commotion over his reality program, “India’s Got Latent,” begins to subside, comedian Samay Raina of Mumbai has released a statement.
The comedian apologized for everything that happened on the broadcast. “I will be careful next time such a thing does not happen again,” he said in his formal statement to the authorities. This whole issue has negatively impacted my mental health. I too had a bad trip in Canada. I acknowledge that what I stated was incorrect, and I apologize for it.
Samay has already rescheduled his India visit and postponed his return to India. The comedian recently posted a message on Instagram’s Stories section announcing that he has delayed his India tour and promising his fans that the money from their tickets will be returned to the original source of their transactions shortly.
He wrote: “Hey everyone, I am postponing my visit of India. Refunds will be sent to all of you soon; see you then.
Prior to the societal unrest that is presently raging with the publication of “Chhaava,” the nation was engulfed in the “India’s Got Latent” issue last month.
Ranveer Allahbadia’s remarks on parents and sex on comedian Samay Raina’s program went viral on social media, causing a great deal of outrage.
“Would you rather watch your parents having sex or join them once and end it forever?” said podcaster Ranveer, according to video footage.
Numerous police complaints were made against Allahbadia and other show participants in Guwahati and Mumbai after the public outcry. The Mumbai police and the cyber unit are looking into Allahbadia’s comments on Reina’s YouTube program “India’s Got Latent” separately.
