Ashutosh won the match by hitting a six on the third ball of the last over. He played an unbeaten innings of 66 runs off 31 balls and snatched the victory from Lucknow's jaw. In his innings, Ashutosh hit 5 sixes and 5 fours.

After the dismissal of Vipraj, the Delhi team was seen losing once, 39 runs were needed in 18 overs (3 overs). The viccity was Michhel Starc and Ashutosh of Delhi. From here, Delhi needed only 6 runs in 6 balls in the last over i.e. in the 20th over. On the first ball of Shahbaz Ahmed, Mohit Sharma linked the next ball after playing the duck. Ashutosh hit a six on the third ball.

210 runs is the biggest target successfully followed by Delhi Capitals in the IPL and this is the first time a target of over 200 has been achieved against LSG. Lucknow Super Giants won the first three H 2H but now Delhi Capitals have won the last three.
