BCCI Contracts Announced: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the annual player contract for Team India (Senior Women) for the 2024-25 season (1 October, 2024 to 30 September, 2025). Which includes the names of a total of 16 women players.
The BCCI has announced a contract for the Indian women's team for the 2024–25 season, which will cover the period from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025. All-format captain Harmanpreet Kaur, star batsman Smriti Mandhana and stylish all-rounder Deepti Sharma have been placed in grade A thanks to her continuous performance over the years.
Renuka Singh, Jemima Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh and Shaifali Verma are placed in Grade B, while Yastika Bhatia, Radha Yadav, Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastarkar will join Grade C in the Central Contract List from 2022/23 session.
Rajeshwari Gaikwad from Grade B and Meghna Singh, Devika Vaidya, Sabbineni Meghna, Anjali Sarwani and Harleen Deol were out from Grade C. Shreyamka Patil, Teetas Sadhu, Arundhati Reddy, Amanjot Kaur and Uma Chhetri are new faces who have made it to the annual player contract.
India will now clash with Sri Lanka and South Africa in the ODI tri -series in Sri Lanka, which will start from 27 April. The ICC Women's Championship is also preparing for the 2022-25 runner-up Team ICC Women's World Cup 2025, which is to be organized on domestic soil later this year.
