Delhi is no longer away from Ballia, the border district of Uttar Pradesh. The people of Ballia will be able to reach Delhi in just 8 hours. Not only this, Haridwar will also be able to reach Haridwar in just 10 hours. Right now it takes 14 to 15 hours for Ballia to reach Delhi. This savings of time between Delhi and Ballia are going to be available due to Ganga Express Way. Through this express, Buxar or Chapra of Bihar can be reached in just nine hours from Delhi.

It is expected that this facility will start before the rainy year. The Ganga Express of Uttar Pradesh, considered to be the longest expressway in the country, has taken shape. 89 percent work of Phase One of this expressway being constructed from Meerut to Prayagraj has been completed. In this, the road has been completed and the work of filler of soil is going on. Similarly, in the expressway, the work of Prayaraj from Ballia, the first part of Phase 2, has also been completed about 50 percent.

50 percent work was done on Phase two also

In this too, the work of Ballia to Ghazipur Green Field Expressway has been 60 percent, Ghazipur to Banaras and Banaras to Prayagraj has been done up to 40 percent. Work has been started rapidly on the spur from Meerut to Haridwar from Meerut. Since this part was announced in the cabinet meeting during the Mahakumbh, this work has started a little late. Despite this, it is believed that the Phase One of the Ganga Expressway will be opened for traffic before the rainy year.

Traffic will start from Ballia by November

At the same time, the first part of Phase 2 will be opened in late October or on November 1 on the occasion of Ballia Day. At the same time, there is a plan to start the second part in the early month of next year. According to UPDA officials, the construction of the 594 km long Ganga Express between Meerut to Prayagraj has been completed. Most of this expressway has been filled with soil. It is expected that the road will be tried at the end of April or in the early days of May itself.

Ganga Expressway was to start in December 2024 itself

Earlier this work was to be completed in December 2024 itself, but due to hurdles during winter, work was on work. Similarly, soil filling work is going on to elevate the Ballia Green Field Expressway till the scheduled label. A total of 22 police and culverts are to be built in this. This Greenfield Expressway, 117.12 km long, will connect Buxar and Chapra in Bihar via Manjhi Bridge via Ballia. Similarly, in Ghazipur, it will connect this Purvanchal Expressway to Jangipur. Next to this, a new Greenfield Expressway is being built to connect the Ganges Express from Jangipur to Prayagraj.
