Amelia is all set to appear on The Great Celebrity Bake Off: Stand Up 2 Cancer tonight (March 23) alongside Roman Kemp, Sarah Beeny and Maxine Peake, as she shows off her baking skills, all in the name of cancer.

Ahead of her appearance, let's take a look into her life from who she's interviewed on Chicken Shop Date to those Andrew Garfield rumours...

Chicken Shop Date

Amelia set up Chicken Shop Date on her YouTube channel in which she interviews celebrities in fried chicken restaurants while subjecting them to her awkward and sarcastic sense of humour.

The comedian has interviewed plenty of big names over the years including , , Louis Theroux, Charli XCX, the Jonas Brothers and Billie Eilish.

The first interview was released on YouTube back in 2014 and has since been nominated for several awards including winning Indie Series at the Streamy Awards in 2022.

The origins of Chicken Shop Date began as a column written by Amelia back when she was 17 for her local under-21s youth magazine.

Andrew Garfield dating rumours

Amelia and Andrew first caught the internet's attention when she interviewed him on the red carpet of the GQ Men of the Year Awards in 2022 and the clip went viral.

Andrew then appeared on Chicken Shop Date and the pair's chemistry was highlighted and again the clip went viral and garnered over 10 million views.

Fans and the internet collectively shipped the pair and petitioned for them to become a real-life couple, with many actually thinking they were boyfriend and girlfriend.

Despite social media rooting for the pair, Amelia stated that the relationship is "probably not going to happen".

Career

Aside from her YouTube channel and interviewing celebrities on the red carpet, Amelia has her own production company Called Dimz which she established in 2018.

The writer is also a brand ambassador for several huge brands including Olay, Bumble and Levi's.

In 2024, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Amelia as their red carpet correspondent for the 96th Academy Awards, a role she continued to do in 2025.
