Channel 4's hit series Gogglebox has returned, and the Malones—comprising Tom, Julie, Tom Jnr, and Shaun—remain a firm favourite among fans. The family joined the show over ten years ago, with Tom Jnr leaving in 2021 to chase new opportunities.

Occasionally gracing the screen, Tom and Julie's daughter, Vanessa, pops up from time to time. Outside of their Gogglebox fame, Tom Sr keeps busy as a lorry driver and Julie greets clients as a receptionist.

Tom Jnr has explored his creative side through freelance modelling and street dance choreography, boasting performances with Black Eyed Peas and a role in Billy Elliott. Meanwhile, Shaun dedicates himself to football coaching and promoting disability sports.

The couple received a wave of support after they sadly lost Dave, their cherished Rottweiler, in 2023—a pooch who had become quite the character on the show. Reflecting on the loss, Julie posted on : "RIP Dave xxx There are no words to describe you, or how much you meant to us. We are all going to miss you so much."

This heartbreak followed just a year after saying goodbye to their Rottweiler Lucy, reports .

Tom Jnr has also felt the love from viewers following his autism diagnosis, becoming an ambassador for the National Autistic Society. Diagnosed at the age of 28, he shared his feelings on TikTok: "I've always felt a bit different, a bit socially awkward and like I just don't process things in the same way as everybody else. Finally I have an explanation. I've recently been diagnosed as autistic."

He wrote: "Something that both makes sense to me whilst at the same time is something completely new to learn about and understand more about why I am the way I am. Now begins the journey.

"This one goes out to all the kids that have ever felt misunderstood due to being a little bit different."

He went on to share advice on 'love languages' for autistic people, earning praise from fans for being "relatable".

Tom Junior recently went public with his romance with Jahmiah Simpson on Instagram at the end of 2024.

Meanwhile, his parents Julie and Tom Senior are still going strong after 32 years together, having started dating in 1992. They marked the occasion on social media, writing: "Happy Anniversary to us! ! ! 32 years! ! ! Kids, grandkids and not forgetting the doggies! Feeling blessed!"

As for Shaun, he became a dad to son Louis in 2020 with his partner Jade and announced the news on Instagram, saying he was "super happy" and "couldn't be more proud" of Jade.
