He has taken over the reins of the government amidst the deteriorating relations with the US after President Donald Trump's return to power. Carney has replaced Justin Trudeau, who was the Prime Minister of Canada since 2015.
Mark Carney's name is known as a trusted leadership in banking and financial world. Since 2008, he has also worked as the head of Bank of Canada, then he kept the country's economy stable in Global Economic Crisis. In 2013, he became the first non-British governor of Bank of England and also played an important role in reducing the economic impacts of Brexit.

Trump's return to Canada and America had a rift in the historical relations and amid these challenges the main focus of the new Prime Minister Mark Karney will be on improving these relations. The former Central Banker was elected the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada on Sunday.
Instead of Trudeau's 37, 15-20 ministers will be in the cabinet!
According to a report by Bloomberg, Mark Carney's new cabinet may be about half the cabinet size of Trudeau. The reports quoted sources as saying that there are expected to be 15 to 20 ministers in his cabinet, while there are currently 37 ministers including the Prime Minister.
Trump's pressure, Boycott of American products in Canada
