Mukesh Chaudhary started playing in domestic cricket for Maharashtra in 2017. He made his first class debut against the Railways in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy on 9 November 2017. In his first Ranji match, he scored 25 runs and took a wicket. Subsequently, he started List A for Maharashtra and took a wicket against Odisha in the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 7 October 2019.
