New Delhi: The wait for the 8th Pay Commission for central employees and pensioners is increasing, as it is expected to increase the salary from 20% to 30%. This Pay Commission can prove to be an important step to improve the lifestyle of central employees. Fitment Factor: The main factor of salary hike.

The fitment factor is the calculation that decides how much the salary of an employee will increase. This factor determines the basic salary and is revised with each Pay Commission. The fitment factor in the 7th Pay Commission was 2.57, which increased the minimum salary from ₹ 7,000 to ₹ 18,000. Now three possibilities are being expressed regarding the fitment factor in the 8th Pay Commission: 1.92, 2.08, and 2.86. If the fitment factor is 2.86, the minimum salary can increase from ₹ 18,000 to ₹ 51,480. This increase can bring a major change in the standard of living of the employees.

Possible salary growth based on fitment factor.

Level 1: Under the 7th Pay Commission, the basic salary of ₹ 18,000 will be increased to ₹ 51,480 if the 2.86 fitment factor is implemented. This increase increases the monthly salary of employees more than three times.

Level 2: The basic salary of ₹ 19,900 will now be ₹ 56,914, which is a significant increase compared to the 7th Pay Commission.

Level 3: The basic salary of ₹ 21,700 can be increased to ₹ 62,062 with a fitment factor of 2.86.

Level 4: The basic salary of ₹ 25,500 will increase by ₹ 72,930, which will be a great increase for employees.

Level 5: The basic salary of ₹ 29,200 will now reach ₹ 83,512. This increase will provide financial assistance to employees.

Level 6: The basic salary of ₹ 35,400 will increase to ₹ 1,01,244 under the 2.86 fitment factor, which will be a major economic relief.

Level 7: The basic salary of ₹ 44,900 will now increase to ₹ 1,28,414, which is a significant increase for high-level employees.

Level 8: The basic salary of ₹ 47,600 will be increased to ₹ 1,36,136 under the 2.86 fitment factor.

Level 9: The basic salary of ₹ 53,100 will now reach ₹ 1,51,866. This increase will prove financially beneficial for employees.

Level 10: The basic salary of ₹ 56,100 will increase to ₹ 1,60,446 when the 2.86 fitment factor is implemented. This increase will be very beneficial for the highest level of employees.
