In 2026, India will play 15 ODIs, which will begin with 3 ODIs against New Zealand in January. After the completion of the 2026 T20 World Cup tournament, India will play 3-3 ODIs against Afghanistan, England, West Indies and New Zealand from June to December 2026. India will play 3 ODIs against Sri Lanka in January 2027 before the start of the ODI World Cup in 2027. These 3 years are going to be important for Team India to decide their team for the 2027 ODI World Cup, in which Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will try to win their last World Cup by retaining their fitness.
