How many ODIs will India play before the 2027 World Cup?
According to the ICC's future tour program (FTP), India have to play 27 ODIs in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe before the World Cup. However, FTP may change in the next two years. India will play 9 ODIs in the year 2025, out of which 3 ODIs will be played against Bangladesh in August-September. 3 ODIs will be played against Australia in October-November. Team India will end the year by playing 3 ODIs against South Africa in November-December.

India will play 3 ODIs against Sri Lanka in January 2027 before the start of the ODI World Cup in 2027. These 3 years are going to be important for Team India to decide their team for the 2027 ODI World Cup, in which Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will try to win their last World Cup by retaining their fitness.
