season 14 only has a couple of episodes left to air and fans are eager to discover the guest stars for episode seven.

Since his arrival in Saint Marie, DI Mervin Wilson (portrayed by Don Gilet) has been on a quest to find his estranged mother, only to be heartbroken by news of her recent passing.

Mervin's grief has driven him to seek the truth about her death with even greater fervour, but with the new commissioner Sterling Fox (played by Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge) complicating matters, can Mervin uncover what really happened?

Gerard Horan returns as the enigmatic Roy Palmer, having first appeared in episode six.

Roy, who worked at the restaurant favoured by Mervin's mother, seems to have a connection to her but could he be involved in her untimely demise?

Horan is known for his role as firefighter Leslie "Charisma" Appleby in the classic series London's Burning and as Terry Seymour in the BAFTA-winning comedy-drama Detectorists.

His recent work includes appearances in The Outlaws, Belgravia: The Next Chapter, and His Dark Materials.

In flashback sequences, as Mervin pieces together the mystery, actress Judith Jacob portrays his mother Dorna Bray.

Jacob is fondly remembered for her role as Carmel Jackson in the 1980s EastEnders, where she played a health visitor assisting teenage mum Michelle Fowler.

She has also appeared in The Queen's Nose, The Real McCoy, My Family, The Bill and Dark Heart, with her latest TV appearance being in Netflix's PRU in 2022.

Actress Joy Richardson is known for her roles in Silent Witness, Sister Boniface Mysteries, London's Burning, Casualty, The Long Song and McDonald and Dodds.

She will reprise her role as Brianna Clemetson, Dorna's neighbour, however, questions remain about whether she knows the truth about Mervin's mother's death or if she was involved in it.

The 14th season of Death In Paradise will conclude on Friday, 21st March, but fans can look forward to more as a 15th series has already been confirmed.
