The disclosure caught Jason, who portrayed Lucius Malfoy in the saga, off guard. Ben then admitted his background role in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the series' sixth installment.

Viewers were treated to an on-screen photograph of an almost unrecognisable Ben with long brown locks and a full moustache, reports .

Despite Jason admitting he didn't take any memorabilia from the sets of the wizarding films, Ben unveiled that he snagged one of the Hogwarts acceptance letters Harry gets ahead of his magical schooling journey.

Ben appeared in a scene at the Weasley twins' joke shop in Diagon Alley - Fred and George's Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. However, his contribution went uncredited as his scene didn't make the final cut.

Aside from this blink-and-you-miss-it participation in the Potter universe, Ben has dabbled in acting elsewhere, including a gig on the legendary sitcom Friends. While hosting , Ben shared memories of his small spot on the American series, labeling it a "privilege".

He shared: "Friends was at its peak. I got to interview [co-creator] Marta [Kauffman] on set. She was brilliant. While we were talking, I knew they were shooting Joey's premiere that night. I said to the crew, 'Why don't I try and angle this interview and get us on set?'

Ben also expressed his excitement about being part of the event: "I'd been chatting with Marta, saying we were really looking forward to seeing it because it's red carpet and part of our trade. It was an absolute privilege to be there, for all of us actually."
