Fans have once again been pleased by the charming relationship between Kim Soo Hyun and Jung Hae In, two of the most adored stars in the Korean entertainment business. The pair, who are well-known for their friendship off-screen, recently had fans laughing out loud with a funny incident from G-Dragon’s variety program Good Day.

A social media edit that went viral was the first spark of Kim Soo Hyun and Jung Hae In’s lighthearted banter. TVING, a South Korean streaming service, posted a funny clip in September 2024 that combined parts of Queen of Tears and Love Next Door.

In the edited video, Jung Hae In’s character from Love Next Door reacted with “Why?” creating a humorous back-and-forth illusion, while Kim Soo Hyun, who portrayed Baek Hyun Woo in Queen of Tears, seemed to be shouting out “Hae In,” a reference to his on-screen wife Hong Hae In. The lighthearted exchange went viral among fans as Jung Hae In even joined in on the prank by leaving the remark, “Why?” on TVING’s post.

But when the two actors appeared together on Good Day, the joke took on a life of its own. As in Queen of Tears, Kim Soo Hyun jokingly shouts out “Hae In” in a recently released teaser for the next episode, and this time, Jung Hae In is there to answer.

In a humorous reaction, the D.P. star yells, “Stop calling me!” to Soo Hyun, which immediately brought the whole set to its feet. Fans were thrilled to see the two stars on TV together, even in a variety show format, and couldn’t get enough of their innate connection.
