Since appearing on in 2019, ’ career has gone from strength to strength. From rising to fame as a reality contestant known for her witty remarks and humour, the 34-year-old has well and truly cemented herself as a TV icon - but that’s not where her success ends.

But that all changed in 2019 when she entered the villa as a bombshell. During her time on the show and the pair were together for eight months before going their separate ways.
In 2024, Maura opened up about her time in the villa and revealed how she really felt about coupling up. Speaking to Married At First Sight guru, Paul C. Brunson on his podcast, We Need To Talk,
Claiming she gave things a go because nobody else was on her radar, she said: “When you're locked in a house, I say locked but you're in a house and you're in there for X amount of time. You're going to start liking people that you wouldn't normally like.”
Paul then laughed and asked: “So there's a bunch of why not men in there?” Maura responded: “Well yeah! They're not your dream man. It's the aim of the game.”
Although she didn’t find lasting love in the villa, Maura has since returned to the show - though not in a bid to find a new flame. Instead, she returned to the show in 2023 as the social ambassador for Love Island USA.

Elsewhere, Maura hasn’t been afraid of putting her skills to the test and has appeared as a contestant on various shows, including 2022’s Cooking With The Stars and 2021’s in which she made it all the way to week seven.
More recently she was a contestant on the latest series of after . The pair became quite the duo in the jungle and Maura narrowly missed out on being one of the final four remaining in the show.
Besides her success on our screens, the TV personality made her acting debut in the comedy The Spin, which premiered at the Belfast Film Festival last year. “The Irish are known for our storytelling, so it felt fitting that my acting debut would be in an Irish film,” she told .
“Although I am comfortable in front of the camera, it did still feel nerve-wracking at first, but chatting with the brilliant cast and crew helped me relax.”
